     This course addresses selected aspects of copyright law that are unique to digital works and discusses recent developments concerning the entertainment industry's battles against digital piracy. The course evaluates the legal and technological measures used to protect copyright and explores the implications of such protection for consumers, technology developers and content providers. It also examines issues concerning the government recent consultation on "Copyright Protection in the Digital Environment".
